From the lab

Visiting researcher: Valérie Arenzon

Until the end of November we have a guest researcher joining our lab for an internship! Valérie Arenzon is a PhD student in Psychology at the Université de Montréal (Canada), with a research background in legal psychology. Her previous work has examined children’s eyewitness testimony, suspects’ cooperation during investigative interviews, and witness memory. She is joining the ALLP for a fall research internship funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) to conduct a review of the literature on acute stress and eyewitness memory, with a focus on understanding the conditions under which stress influences the encoding and subsequent recall of witnessed events.
